<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To call driver's attention to the setting of a cruising speed exceeding a limit speed by measuring an actual running speed and changing colors of characters on a speed display screen in accordance with the actual running speed. SOLUTION: An actual running speed when a vehicle runs on a road is measured by a speed measuring means 12 and is displayed in a speed display means 151. The measured actual running speed is compared with the limit speed input from a limit speed input means 11 by a large or small comparison judging means 143 of a control part 14, and if the actual running speed exceeds the limit speed, a first coloring means 12 only is lit. Moreover, if the measured actual running speed is lower than the limit speed, the actual running speed is compared with a difference in speed obtained by subtracting a speed width constant set in advance from the limit speed by the large or small comparison judging means 143. If the actual running speed is lower than the difference in speed, only a second coloring means 153 in a display part 15 is lit. Consequently, it is possible to make a driver recognize that actual running speed exceeds the limit speed and make the driver recognize that actual running speed is close to the limit speed.</p> |
