PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting structure of a ceramic roll having general-purpose properties, capable of restraining the ceramic roll from being damaged and from wobbling, and capable of being manufactured at low cost. SOLUTION: In this supporting structure for a ceramic roll, for supporting both ends of a pipe-shaped ceramic roll 11 by a supporting member 12, a plurality of holes 14 are provided near the end of the ceramic roll 11, a recessed parts 17 through which the roll is to be inserted are formed on the supporting member 12, bolt holes 16a, 16b corresponding to the holes 14 are formed on walls 15a, 15b of the recessed parts 17, the end of the ceramic roll 11 is inserted into the recessed parts 17 of the supporting member 12, metallic bolts 13 having rigidity lower than those of the walls 15a, 15b of the recessed parts 17 and inserted through respective holes 14 of the ceramic roll 11 and bolt holes 16a, 16b corresponding to them, and the ceramic roll 11 is attached to the supporting member 12. |
