摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve osteobonding strength by coating a zirconia ceramic body surface with a coating layer of respectively specific values in the first peak height ratios of the X-ray diffraction and the upper limits of the average film thicknesses of calcium ternary phosphate and hydroxyapatite. SOLUTION: For example, a slurry of about 5 wt.% is prepd. by adding about 95 g distilled water to about 5 g hydroxyapatite powder and is used as a binder. About 2 g polyethylene glycol, about 2 g polyvinyl alcohol and about 0.2 g phosphate based dispersant are added to this binder. This binder is immersed into a sintered partially stabilized zirconia substrate and is then dried and fired. The substrate surface is thus coated with the coating layer of <1/5 in the first peak height ratios of the X-ray diffraction and 20 &mu;m in the upper limits of the average film thicknesses of the calcium ternary phosphate and the hydroxyapatite. The adhesion strength of to the zirconia ceramic body surface is improved by such constitution.
