PALLET AND CASE CONVEYING DEVICE IN AUTOMATED STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL FACILITIES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the space and cost of a picking station. SOLUTION: The pallet and case conveying device in automated storage and retrieval facilities is arranged in an automated storage and retrieval system 1 that comprises shelves 1d arranged in a multiseriate and multistage way, stacker cranes 2 and carrying-in/out equipment 1c in order as to perform load- arrangement/picking work for empty pallets and storing/picking work for cases in carrying loads out of the automated storage and retrieval system 1. These empty-pallet loading/picking work and case sorting/picking work are carried out on the same workbench 6 in different time zones, and the pallets on which loads picked out are arranged are conveyed to a downstream pallet carrying-out line by way of a pallet conveying line 15 and the cases which are sorted out are conveyed to a downstream case carrying-out line by way of a case conveying line 16.
