PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biaxially oriented film having excellent delamination property and mechanical strength and further having excellent anti-curling property. SOLUTION: This polyethylene-2,6-naphthalate film comprises a copolyester containing 2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid as a main component and containing ethylene glycol as a main glycol component and containing bis(4-(2- hydroxyethoxy)phenyl) sulfone as a copolymerization component, and diethylene glycol content in the copolyester is <=3 mol.% (based on total amount of glycol component) and the film has >=1.352 g/cm<3> density and <=2.0 nm roughness of film surface and >=1,000 kg/mm<2> sub of Young's modulus in vertical direction and Young's modulus in horizontal direction. |
