PURPOSE:To enlarge the detecting range of a sensor as well as to prevent the occurrence of erroneous operations due to the detection of a different article by detecting the interruption of signals from a projector from which signals are to go into the light receiving section of a photo-electric sensor, actuating the switching element of a lighting equipment so as to be conditioned to latching operations, and thereby starting flash lighting. CONSTITUTION:The detecting range 21 of a sensor is secured in parallel with a lighting equipment 13 by the projector section 16 and the light receiving section 17 of a photo-electric sensor fitted onto the lighting equipment 13. It is adapted as a detecting method that the existence of no light in the light receiving section 17 is transmitted to a latch section 8 as a detecting signal when the beam of light from the projector section 16 is interrupted by a detected article such as human hands inserted in the detecting range 21, following which, a lamp is switched on by a light switching circuit 10 with a relay and the like driven. In this case, even if the beam of light from the projector is received by the light receiving section with the detected article removed, a lighting condition is kept on by the latch section 8. In the second place, when the detected article goes in the detecting range 21 again, a light is turned out by means of similar operations. |
