The inner helmet used to direct laser light against the crown of the head is rotated in turns to ensure even laser light distribution. An electromagnetic radiation source is used to generate laser light which is directed against the scalp of a person wearing a specially shaped inner helmet (3). The inner helmet is rotated in turns to ensure that laser light is distributed evenly over the crown of the head and scalp.
