PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and inexpensive apparatus for crystal growth useful for crystallization of a biopolymer such as protein. SOLUTION: This apparatus 20 for growing crystals is equipped with first liquid storage parts 23a and 23b for retaining a liquid to be used for crystal growth, flow paths 26a and 26b for moving liquid from the first liquid storage parts 23a and 23b to other places and a second liquid storage part 24 for receiving liquid moved by flow paths 26a and 26b. The first liquid storage part 23a and 23b are formed on a substrate 21 comprising a general purpose material such as glass. The second liquid storage part 24 is formed on the doped silicon substrate 22. |
