摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate problems of generating expansion, when SiC is added to a hot repairing material consisting mainly of MgO and CaO, oxidizing the surfaces of the SiC granules due to the expansion to form SiO2 glass layers, excessively causing the production of the low melting point product, deteriorating the effect of erosion resistance, positively oxidizing the SiC by the generation of the expansion to decompose the SiC into SiO2 and carbon dioxide, releasing the generated carbon dioxide into air, dissolving the SiO2 as a liquid phase in the aggregate, changing the oxide layer portions into fragile portions containing many pores, and consequently deteriorating effects to erosion resistance. SOLUTION: This spraying material for hot repair contains MgO, CaO and SiC in a weight ratio of 1:(001-0.8):<=0.3 as the chemical composition of a refractory aggregate, and further contains superfine silica powder having an average particle diameter of <=10 &mu;m in an amount of 0.5-5 wt. outer percent per 100 pts.wt. of the refractory aggregate comprising the composition. A silicate salt binder and metal powder may further be added in amounts of 0.5-10 wt.% and 0.01-5 wt.%, respectively.
