Procedure for the continuous manufacture of water-based transfers

Procedure for the continuous manufacture of water-based transfers which consists of using a first paper with a different porosity on each side, applying to one side a number of coats of varnish and printing the image to be transferred onto the last coat. A second paper is also used that is treated on one side with an anti-adhesive material onto which is printed a layer of permanent adhesive. The two treated papers are subjected to pressure in a press and are combined to form a single sheet. When this is opened down the centre and the anti- adhesive paper is removed, the adhesive is transferred to the printed image. <IMAGE>
