The firearm consists of a barrel (2), a lock (3) and a casing (1) with the firing mechanism (4) and a gas passage (6) to a pressure chamber (7) requiring a levelling mass. The rear part of the lock forms a cylinder (14). The levelling mass is in the cylinder in the form of a piston (15). Between the cylinder and the piston there is a cavity which has a flow connection to the outside via a throttle point. The cross section of this throttle point may be adjustable. The piston may be a stepped one with the thinner part (13), facing the pressure chamber, running in a longitudinal boring (12) leading towards the pressure chamber. |
