A sliding door has a door section (3) which is located on a roller system with at least two roller units located a distance apart. The roller units comprise two groups of support rollers (2a,2b) with the first group having fixed location to a runner (1), and the second group able to be adjusted vertically on the runner. The rollers of the second group (2b) are located on a form of balance plate (20), which is supported on a horizontal face of the runner and is height adjustable to carry the loading. Its support in the direction of movement of the door is achieved via the narrow front face (24) of the plate, whereby the front face lies opposite a cylinder (25) rigidly connected to the runner. |
