<p>An extension tool (10) is used as an extension mandrel to enable roll fed shrink wrap film (13) or single sheets of shrink wrap film (13) to be wrapped around a container (12) such that a portion (14) of the film (13) extends from an end (11) of the container (12) with overlapping ends of the film (13) adhered to one another. A forming plug (18) is used to form a part (14) of the film (13), either roll fed or in the form of a sleeve, which extends from an end (11) of the container (12) such that the extending part conforms to the configuration of the end from which it extends.</p> |
