Crystal oscillator with temperature compensation

A temperature sensor (16) by the crystal oscillator (12,13) feeds into an analog to digital converter (18). The digital output of the converter (32) is input to a processor (21). The processor looks up a memorized table (22) and produces a compensating signal (33,34) which feeds back (35) into the oscillator and readjusts (36) the frequency for changes in temperature. The circuit has the facility (17) to sense additional parameters (38).
