METHOD FOR GLUING DATA CARRIER DISKS TOGETHER

In order to glue DVD halves together, a circular adhesive track (2) is deposited on one DVD half (1). The other DVD half (1) is then bent along an axis which is parallel relative to the data carrier half, and afterwards, is placed onto the first data carrier half such that punctiform contact surfaces result. By lifting the first data carrier half, the bent data carrier half (5) is pressed in a straight manner such that a ring-shaped contact surface results. Said ring-shaped contact surface is controlled afterwards and enlarged by means of capillary and centrifugal forces. A touchpad with specially configured grippers serves to hold and stack the bent data carrier half.
