<p>The installation comprises a large capacity basin (1) wherein are received the liquid manures and from which said liquid manures are conveyed to a conditioning pit (4) and thereafter to a solid removal unit wherein a rotary sieve (6) and a press (7) are involved; the solids are removed and the liquids flow to a substantially long flocculation trough (9) which discharges into a pumping pit (12) from which the liquids are pumped to a settling basin (14), from there to a refining basin (15), then to a flow regulating basin, and from the latter the liquid circulates through a pair of filters (18 and 19) to reach a row of basins or chambers of reduced sizes wherein first an aeration and preoxidation phase takes place followed by a final oxidation phase which terminates the purification of the liquids.</p> |
