SHEET JOINT AND A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE THEREOF

A joint for joining together a first sheet part (1) and a second sheet part (3). A hole (5) is made through the first sheet part for penetration of a yoke (6) comprised in the second sheet part. When assembling the sheet parts, a hole for driving in a wedge (7) arises between the yoke and the inside of the first sheet part. The wedge exerts a tensile force in the yoke (6) and a compressive force against the first sheet part, the wedge thus locking the joint with prestress.
