At least one stop component probes the displacement position of the core pins. For the stop component a securing recess in the cylinder housing is provided. The core pin (5) is displaceable in a hole (8) parallel to the key channel (3) and at its one end has a probe cam (9) extending into the key channel (3). The core pin is pre-tensioned in a sprung manner and on its flank (10) turned away from the key channel has at least one release groove (11) for engagement of a probing pin (12) of the stop component (6). On both sides of the key channel a row of core pins (5) is provided, the probe cams (9) of which either reach or extend near to the central longitudinal plane (13) of the key channel (3), probe the key control surfaces which are formed along the central longitudinal plane (13), or which end at a distance from the central longitudinal plane and are controlled by key control surfaces on control ribs of the key.
