USE OF EXOCHELINS IN THE PRESERVATION OF ORGANS FOR TRANSPLANT

Exochelins can be used to prevent damage to organs for transplant from the formation or presence of the•OH radical. In particular, the invention is directed to the administration of exochelins to the organ prior to or coincidental with removal from a donor, storage, implantation in a recipient or in conjunction with reestablishment of flow of body fluids to the organ.
