The colorimetric value is fed to a profile update unit (100b) and a contrast correction unit (100d), which corrects the contrast in accordance with the colorimetric value. The information on the setting of the monitor (103) fed from a monitor control unit (102) is fed to a monitor setting value conversion unit (100c), where a TRC and a matrix are produced in accordance with the setting information altered by the conversion unit (100c) and fed to the profile update unit (100b), which updates a profile stored in a memory (104a) in accordance with the newly produced profile.</p> |
