A delivery protection bag for providing protection to items delivered to a premises, but left exterior thereto, from environmental damage and theft or vandalism. The bag includes a closable, lockable container, an anchor and a member securing the container to the anchor. In use, the container is placed outside a door, or the like, the securing member may be laid across the threshold of the door with the anchor disposed interior of the door. The door is then closed and locked. A delivery person leaves a package in the container, and then closes and locks the container. The package may then be retrieved by authorized persons when desired. When not in use, the delivery protection bag may be moved to a convenient storage place.
