Transverse fan with flow stabilizer

The discharge flow path (D) of a transverse fan (100) is modified by placing ramps (30) on the rear/bottom wall (20) to provide localized acceleration of the flow while preventing the establishment of flow instability. The ramps (30) reduce the noise generated without deteriorating the performance of the unit.
