<p>The system pumps petrol (12) from one tank (10) through a filter (13) to a first group of electromagnetic injection valves (16-19) fed from a distributor (15). Liquefied propane gas for alternative use is pumped (25) from another tank (24) to a second group of injectors (29-32). Level gauges (22,35) in the respective tanks are wired to an electronic controller (23) in conjunction with sensors of exhaust compsn. before and after catalytic conversion, and of throttle opening (BKL), intake air and coolant temps. (TAl,TKW) and engine load. The appropriate pump and injectors are activated (36) in accordance with the setting of a dashboard-mounted selector (37).</p> |
