The float element system consists of float elements and fixtures connecting the elongated float elements to the underwater pipe. At least one fixture of each float element which is not situated in the middle can rotate, in the form of a pipe-clamp. The underwater pipe can be automatically released from the float elements by a release mechanism dependent on water pressure. The underwater pipe is aligned on the water-level, held by the floats fixed along it. The pipe is sunk to the bottom of the water by successively releasing the floats.
