<p>A series of templates 1, 2, 3 and 4 of different dimensions used to outline the shape of an area to be cut from a tile or sheet. The set typically includes a measurer (not shown) to fine-tune measurements associated with complex shapes and a template with cut outs corresponding to pipe diameters. The templates 1, 2, 3 and 4 are made from a material that is resistant to wear such as polypropylene. Each template is overprinted, with a coding and a series of graduations 5 as a measuring means. The templates are provided in a storage facility (not shown). There is also described a method of measuring a tile or sheet which involves the use of one or more templates in combination to define the outline of a shape.</p> |
