The ventilator comprises a hub (1) mountable on a drive shaft and fitted with vanes (2) enclosed by an outer ring (3) which is snap-fitted on the ends of the vanes (2). The snap fit connection comprises an inner ring bead (10) on the outer ring engaging in a notch on each end of the vane. The ends of the vanes are supported with a large surface uniform pressure contact against the inner face (11,12) of the outer ring. The outer ring has downstream a curved edge flange (14). The vanes and outer ring are preferably made of suitable plastic material.
