The combined food server/heater isothermal container is designed for food presentation and heat retention. The container comprises an autonomous heating support having a heat retaining plate of the same shape and dimensions of a presentation plate fitted with a cover (3). The heating support and the presentation plate form a combined system which can be connected to an electrical supply via a connector (6) in the heating support (1). The heating support transfers its heat to the presentation plate by conduction until it reaches a consumption temperature of 65-85 degrees C. Cut off from the electrical supply is automatically done when the correct temperature is reached.
