<p>The heater consists of a circulating duct section (1) containing at least one heating element (2) which heats the fluid circulating through the duct and is fitted with terminals (5,6) projecting through apertures (8) in the side wall (7) of the duct. The element has an elastic structure which allows it to be compressed for insertion through one end (3,4) of the duct, returning to its original shape once the terminals reach the position of the duct wall apertures. The compression is achieved by having each terminal connected via an oblique section (14,15) of the heating element to a straight section (10) which lies parallel to the lengthwise axis of the duct.</p> |
