Micro-mixer for production of ethyl-oxide

A static micro-mixer has a mixing chamber receiving two fluid components, each of which is fed to the chamber by a discrete system of bow-shaped grooves (4, 5) within a foil (1, 2) surface. The overlapping grooves form a mass of overlapping intersections at which the fluids mix. The bow-shaped grooves are of different length, and are separated from each other by crosspieces (6) of varying thickness. The crosspieces between the longer grooves are thinner than those between the shorter grooves.
