<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a R-C composite electronic component which can be baked under the same conditions as usual laminated ceramic capacitors, without special baking conditions, has a simple manufacturing process and a low production cost, and easily enables R-C or (L/C) R series circuits and controlled resistance values, and manufacture thereof. SOLUTION: In this electronic component, a dielectric layer 2 and an internal electrode 3 are alternately laminated. The electrode 3 and a terminal electrode 4-6 formed at an edge of the R-C composite electronic component are electrically connected to form a capacitor. At least one terminal electrode has three electrode layers 4-6. The first electrode layer 4 is the nearest to the internal electrode and the third one 6 is the farthest. In this R-C composite electronic component, the first electrode layer 4 and the third electrode layer 6 contain Cu and/or Ni and the second electrode layer 5 contains an oxide of the first electrode layer 4.</p> |
