<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a laser machining torch to be used and selected from two forms of a pencil type and a pistol type depending on the condition of a work to be worked, to simplify the switching and also to improve the operability of a switch capable of laser emission. SOLUTION: This torch is provided with an engaging groove 6 on the outer circumference of a cylindrical torch main body 1 with a sharp tip, and a pistol type grip 2 is mounted freely attachably/detachably to the torch main body 1 by fitting an engaging projected line 7 provided on the upper end of the grip 2. The sharp tip cylindrical torch main body can be used suitably by itself as a pencil type torch particularly for welding or cutting the horizontal plane of a work to be worked; in the case that the vertical plane, etc., of the work are machined, the pistol type grip is projectingly attached to the side of the torch main body and, thereby, the work can be carried out stably in a comfortable posture without causing fatigue in a wrist.</p> |
