PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric contact capable of being elastically brought into contact with a circuit pad formed on a circuit board and being used in a board fixing type electric connector. SOLUTION: An electric connector 10 has a plurality of electric contacts 50 within a housing 20. Each of the electric contacts 50 has a first plate piece 62 and a second plate piece 63 folded back at one end on fitting side. The first plate piece 62 has a pressure-inserting part 53 and an elastic contact piece 52 aslant extending, and the second plate piece 63 has a pressing shoulder 66 for pressure insertion. When the housing 20 is placed on a circuit board, the contact piece 52 of the electric contact 50 is elastically bent on the bottom side of the housing 20, and a contact part 54 elastically comes in contact with a circuit pad on the circuit board.
