RUBBER MIXTURE AND RUBBER COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition suitable for a tire largely improved in wet skid performance and ice skid performance while maintaining abrasion resistance of conventional polybutadiene and a rubber mixture capable of using as a rubber component for the rubber composition. SOLUTION: This rubber mixture comprises a polybutadiene rubber mixture [(A) and (B)] composed of (A) >=30 wt.% and <70 wt.% high molecular weight polybutadiene having 3.0-7.0 intrinsic viscosity [η] measured at 30 deg.C in toluene and consisting essentially of polybutadiene having >=80% cis-1,4-structure content and (B) >30 wt.% and <=70 wt.% low molecular weight polybutadiene consisting essentially of polybutadiene having 0.1-0.5 intrinsic viscosity [η] measured at 30 deg.C in toluene and (C) a diene-based rubber other than the components A and B, and the content of the polybutadiene rubber mixture [(A)+(B)] is 35-95 wt.% based on total weight of the rubber mixture [(A)+(B)+(C)].
