PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve battery characteristics such as a battery cycle characteristic, electric capacity, and a storage characteristic in a charged condition by adding a specific carbonic ester derivative in an electrolyte in which an electrolytic substance is dissolved in a nonaqueous solvent. SOLUTION: In an electrolyte, a carbonic ester derivative represented by the formula is contained. In the formula, R<1> , R<2> , R<3> independently represent an alkyl group containing 1-12 carbon atoms, a cycloalkyl group containing 3-6 carbon atoms, or an aryl group respectively. R<1> and R<2> may be connected together via a methylene group into a cycloalkyl group containing 3-6 carbon atoms. R<2> may represent a hydrogen atom. This kind of electrolyte is prepared by mixing a highly dielectric solvent and a low viscosity solvent together, dissolving an electrolytic substance such as LiPF6 in this mixture, and then, dissolving carbonic ester shown by the formula such as 2-buthanone oxime methyl carbonate in it. In this way, a battery excellent in a battery cycle characteristic, a battery characteristic such as electric capacity, and a low characteristic can be provided. |
