PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make even an inspector with only little experiences able to more easily perform evaluation by providing information perceivable from ultrasonic images with information providing ability for an ultrasonic diagnosis as a group medical examination in cancer prevention. SOLUTION: A mammary glands 1 is placed between a primary beam transmitter/echo signal receiver 2 and a reference plane 6 for reflecting a primary beam 3 as an echo signal 4 stronger than the other area of a viable tissue. The average propagation time, expected propagation time or amplitude of the echo signal received by the primary beam transmitter/echo signal receiver 2 is obtained as a reference signal. The deviation of the propagation time or amplitude of the echo signal 4 reflected by the reference plane 6, acquired and detected and the propagation time or amplitude of the reference signal forms a measure to the possibility of a tumor in the area in the space direction of the propagation of the echo signal 4. |
