PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system executing the changeover of the level of motor driving voltage supplied to a lens in accordance with the residual capacity of a power source mounted at a camera specially in a one-shot focusing mode. SOLUTION: As for the camera system where a camera 1 and an autofocusing type lens 2 having focus driving means 17 and 20 actuated by the supply of electric power from the power source 7 of the camera are connected so that they can mutually communicate; the camera 1 is provided with transmission means 3 and 5 transmitting a usable electric power designating instruction to the lens 2 in accordance with the voltage of the power source, and the lens 2 is provided with voltage setting means 14 and 16 setting supply voltage to the focus driving means in accordance with the usable electric power designating instruction. |
