PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield structure of a substrate for mounting semiconductor laser, structurally strong and excellent in installation workability. SOLUTION: A U-shaped cross sectional stay 130 is mounted so as to set free a semiconductor laser electrode on one face on which the semiconductor laser electrode of a fixing member for fixing a semiconductor laser 18 is exposed, and one of the half cases of a shielding case 200 divided into two is installed in the stay to house the semiconductor laser electrode in the case by using the two side walls of the stay 130. And, after installing a packaged substrate 190 on the semiconductor laser electrode, the two half cases is structured so as to magnetically shield the packaged substrate 190 from the outside field by capping one half case with another half case. |
