PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial process for the continuous production of a polyacetal resin from 1,3-dioxolane and trioxane as main copolymer components stably over a long period in high yield by using a catalyst. SOLUTION: A polyacetal resin is continuously produced by mixing 1,3- dioxolane 2 with baron trifluoride and/or boron trifluoride coordination compound 1 to obtain a mixture 4, mixing the mixture with trioxane 3 and subjecting the produced mixture to bulk polymerization in a polymerizer S. In the above process, 1,3-dioxolane is supplied in a direction same as the feeding direction of boron trifluoride and/or boron trifluoride coordination compound to effect the contact and mixing of both components, the mixing of the mixed flow is continued for 0.1-30 sec under a condition to get a mixed flow having a linear velocity of >=0.1 m/sec and the obtained mixture is further mixed with trioxane. |
