FIXING STRUCTURE OF PIN TERMINAL METAL FITTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firmly fix a pin terminal to a substrate and its land after soldering by specifying relationship between an opening angle of a circumference protrusive fold and an opening angle made by the center of that opening angle and the substrate pore circumference parts and performing soldering between the end part of the pin terminal caulked halfway and the land part of the substrate. SOLUTION: The circumference starting line A1 of a circumference protrusive fold is not matched with the land part end part of a substrate pore end part when a hollow part 7 of a pin terminal 3 is opened for caulking, and a distance (a) is secured between the circumference protrusive folding part and the land part 2. The hollow part 7 of the pin terminal 3 is caulked so that an opening angel θ1 of the circumference protrusive hold of the hollow part 7 in the pin terminal 3 becomes smaller than an opening angle θ2 made by the circumference starting lines A2 connecting the center point O of the opening angle θ1 and the substrate circumference end parts together. In this way, the pin terminal 3 is caulked halfway before soldering, and solder 5 is sufficiently brought into contact with the pin caulking part and the land 2, so that the pin terminal 3 can be fixed to the substrate 1 firmly.
