PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain powder in which sintering at a low temp. is effective ly suppressed and capable of forming conductor coating high in electric conduc tivity even in the case of thin coating thickness by providing at least a part of the surface with a specified multiple oxide layer contg. boron oxide, alumi num oxide and silicon oxide. SOLUTION: A soln. contg. a pyrolytic nickel compd., one or more kinds among a pyrolytic calcium, compd., a strontium compd., a barium compd., one or more kinds of a pyrolytic titanium compd. and a zirconium compd. and a pyrolytic boron compd., an aluminum compd. and a silicon compd. if necessary is formed into fine droplets, and heating is executed to the decomposing temp. of each compd. In this way, nickel powder is formed, and, simultaneously, in the vicinity of the surface, a multiple oxide layer shown by the formula: Ax By O(x+2y) (A is Ca, Sr or Ba, B is Ti or Zr, and 0.5<=y/x<=4.5) and, if required, one or more kinds among boron oxide, aluminum oxide and silicon oxide are precipitated. |
