<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jaw motion simulator, and accurately reproduce a movement of the jaws of an examinee by fixing a lower jaw model to an operation plate to which six degrees of freedom are imparted by a parallel mechanism, and controlling motion of the lower jaw model on the basis of data obtained from a movement of the jaws of the human body. SOLUTION: An upper jaw model 210 and a lower jaw model 310 modeling at least a part of the upper jaw and the lower jaw, are provided, and a jaw motion reproducing device 30 is arranged to reproduce a movement of the lower jaw model 310 to the upper jaw model 210. This reproducing device 30 is constituted so that motion of six degrees of freedom of the lower jaw model 310 on an operation plate 40 can be controlled through a disk-shaped horn 36 and a link 38 arranged on these rotary shafts by driving servomotors 35 respectively arranged two units on three stands 34 fixed on a base board 31. Its control is performed by a jaw motion reproducing control device 22 realized inside a computer system 20 on the basis of data to express a relative position and a posture of the lower jaw to the upper jaw.</p> |
