PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver by which each person views a program in a favorite acoustics or volume or in a favorite language, even in the case that plural viewers view a television program. SOLUTION: A television tuner of a television receiver main body A selects a television signal from an RF signal, an audio signal is separated from the selected television signal and reproduced into an audio intermediate frequency signal with a frequency of 4.5 MHz. An infrared ray emission section 2 modulates an infrared ray signal with the selected audio intermediate frequency signal with a frequency 4.5 MHz and emits the modulated signal. An infrared ray receiver 3 receives the emitted infrared ray in an infrared-ray receiving audio demodulation system headphone B, and an audio detection amplifier section 4 detects and demodulates an audio signal from the received infrared ray. |
