摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection type liquid crystal display device which has a high aperture ratio and is capable of stably fixing pixel potential, precisely controlling the voltage acting on liquid crystals and providing good image quality. SOLUTION: The reflection type liquid crystal display device constituted by disposing a plurality of conductive members having substantially flat surfaces and constituting pixels on substrates has nonconductive films 1 for insulating and separating these conductive members from each other. The distances between the conductive members by the nonconductive films 1 are narrower in width on the front surface side of the conductive members than on the opposite side. The device has nonconductive films 3 for insulating and separating the conductive members from each other. The distances between the conductive members by the nonconductive films 3 are narrowest in the width on the front surface side of the conductive members and wide in the width on the opposite side. Further, the ratio H/L of the height H of the nonconductive films between the conductive members and the distances L between the conductive members is specified approximately to >=0.2 to <=1.</p>
