PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing device and a shake correcting camera capable of appropriately photographing in accordance with a situation without burdening a photographer. SOLUTION: Since a background image flows at panning, it is more liable to emphasize a main object which is small in a whole photographic area at panning as compared with at normal photographing. When a panning operation is executed by the photographer (S110) although a segmented photometry mode is selected by the photographer (S100), the photometry mode is automatically switched from the segmented photometry mode to a center-weighted photometry mode. Thus, the main object is appropriately exposed without being affected by the brightness of the background. |
