PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a work without requiring skill, and express a waving pattern by providing a necessary inclination for the obverse and the reverse of a plate-like building material formed of a natural stone. SOLUTION: The obverse 2 and the reverse 3 of a building material 1 are formed at a necessary inclinationθ, and a width of a side surface formed of the obverse 2 and the reverse 3 is formed in the shape of reaching a compratively wide width from a comparatively narrow width, and first and second side surfaces 4 and 5 and third and fourth side surfaces 6 and 7 are respectively formed of the obverse 2 and the reverse 3. Next, since the building material 1 is successively juxtaposed in the sideways direction from a lower part to a base stand of a wall and the reverse 3 is wholly brought into contact with the base stand and a first stage and a second stage are heaped up in order and the building material 1 is only arranged/installed with the respective stages, execution work can be performed without requiring skill. Next, since the side surface 7 corresponding to the lower end of the building material 1 positioned in the respective upper stages protrudes to the front face side at an almost constant rate, a protruding part of the respective stages can be visually confirmed in a waveform as the whole wall surface after execution work.
