PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video conference system of a multi-port, where video conference terminals are constituted in a daisy chain and its chain head terminal is connected to an ATM network. SOLUTION: An ATM cell is relayed up to a final terminal from an ATM network 5 facing toward a downstream and transferred up to the network 5 from each terminal facing toward an upperstream. Each video conference terminal is provided with a video program input port, to which a unique ATM address is provided and plural video program output ports where one address of the video program input port is provided. An ATM cell generated from each video program input port is transmitted to the ATM network 5 facing toward the upstream and relayed so as to be returned to a chain head terminal, and then relayed up to a final terminal facing toward the downstream. |
