PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely attain an effective prevention of dew condensation on the internal surface of the main body frame and generation of noise of a ventilating fan by surely securing a clearance between the external surface of the casing of the fan and the internal surface of the main body frame without giving damages to them. SOLUTION: In a ventilating fan in which a projecting section 27 is provided on the external surface of a casing 23 which is made of a foamed plastic and surrounds air blowing vanes 21 when the casing 23 is housed in a main body frame 11 and a clearance 30 is secured between the external surface 23b of the casing 23 excluding the projecting section 27 and the internal surface 11a of the main body frame 11 by bringing the projecting section 27 into contact with the internal surface 11a of the frame 11, the projecting section 27 is provided on the inside of the flange section 16 of the main body frame 11. Therefore, the projecting section 27 is not cut by a cutter, because the section 27 is positioned to such a location that the cutter does not reach or hardly reaches the section 27. |
