PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable electrophotographic printer not causing an offset phenomenon, dripping of oil, etc., by making an optimum quantity of oil always possible to be supplied to Teflon(R) felt by a required width and winding the Teflon(R) felt by an optimum length. SOLUTION: Data on the width, unit length and thickness of a printing paper are inputted from a host device and stored in a control part in a printer. When printing data are inputted to execute printing, the data on the printing paper stored in the control part are read out and the operations of an oil pump 5 for supplying the oil to the Teflon(R) felt and a felt motor 6 for winding the Teflon(R) felt are controlled to supply the oil to the Teflon(R) felt by the width and quantity corresponding to the width and the thickness of the paper and wind the Teflon(R) felt by a length corresponding to the unit length of the paper. |
