摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve threading performance by correcting a gap based on the correcting amt. of the roll gap of a rolling stand which is obtained based on the difference of rolling force, after obtaining the difference between the amount of rolling force and the amount of the reference rolling force at each of rolling stands and a correcting amt. which is calculated by a gagemeter method and a feedback method. SOLUTION: A rolling force detector 14 is provided on each of stands except the final rolling stand of a rolling mill. A difference P10 -Pi between the amount Pi of rolling force measured with this detector 14 at each of the rolling stands and the amount P10 of reference rolling force at each of the rolling stands which is predetermined is obtained and based on this value, the correcting amt.δS1 of roll gap of the final rolling stand is determined by formula. Based on this correcting amt.δS1 and the correcting amt. of a roll gap determined by a gagementer method and a feedback method, a gap between the work rolls 11, 12 at each of the rolling stands except the final rolling stand is corrected with roll gap correcting devices 13. In the formula, (i) is the number of the rolling stand,α1 is the constant which is determined for every stand and (n) is the number of stands of the rolling mill (i=1 to (n-1)).</p>
