<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device for vehicle capable of ensuring a required amount of protrusion to a compartment side without increasing size, even using a double structure. SOLUTION: This air bag device for a vehicle is provided with a folded part 6 jointed with a side edge 6a to the peripheral edge part 4 of an air bag 1, formed in at least either of an upper seat 2 or a lower seat 3 constituting the air bag 1. Upon the inflation of the air bag 1, the folded part 6 extends, so that the air bag 1 becomes stereoscopic. Therefore, it is possible to ensure a required amount of protrusion to the compartment side without increasing size, even for the air bag 1 of double structure.</p> |
